Privacy Policy
Who we are
The Scottsdale Unified School District Foundation ("the Foundation") is an independent 501(c)(3) nonprofit, EIN 20-1862632. This policy covers give.susdfoundation.org and www.susdfoundation.org.
What we collect
Donation and purchase details (name, email, amount, designation), teacher project submissions, account information for registered users, and standard analytics data. Payment card details are processed by Stripe and never touch Foundation servers.
How we use it
To process gifts and issue tax receipts, deliver event tickets, run the teacher grant program, and — only with your opt-in — send Foundation news. We never sell personal information.
Who we share it with
Service providers strictly as needed: Stripe (payments), Google Firebase (authentication and hosting), Resend (transactional email), and Google Analytics (usage statistics, consent-gated). Sponsor logos and donor first names appear publicly only per the programs' published rules.
Your choices (including California residents)
You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information at any time. To preserve legally required financial records, deletion requests are honored by anonymizing donation records (removing personal identifiers while retaining the financial entry). You may decline analytics cookies via the consent banner. Contact: privacy@susdfoundation.org.
Students
The Foundation does not collect student-identifying information, and its content standards prohibit student-identifying material anywhere on its platforms.
Retention & security
Financial records are retained a minimum of seven years per IRS requirements. Access to donor data is role-restricted and audited.
